A little pricey. But air-conditioned, fast service, and good food.
The pad thai has shrimp but I would prefer others due to flavor. Mint on the pork is too strong.
MoreIf you loooove Isan food, like I do, then you'll love this place. Very simple venue, but good air con and the freshest and tastiest food. Mostly Thai customers, so don't expect adjusted flavours to suit a basic western palate... This is the real deal. Pleasantly spicy but won't blow your head off. Been twice in two days and going back a third time tomorrow! 60-100 baht for most menu items.
MoreThese chicken wings look execellent! Nice and crispy.
Small place in the corner of the street but they serve lovely fusion of Thai and Chinese food. Definitely a place to go for comfort foods.
MoreExcellent Thai food. Good price and quality. The place is small so consider yourself lucky if you get a seat. Don't miss it!!
MoreGreat local place for a quick bite
I loved everything. Price to quality ratio is fantastic.
Food was delicious with a kind owner. It's a hidden gem type of restaurant since they don't really advertise and they have AC, so that's nice
MorePrices reasonable..but not really authentic to isan food / Northeast food..this coming from my Thai friend. Food was ok though..small portion sizes..overall descent but not recommend for the real deal
MoreTraditional Southern Thai food. They have English menu for foreigner, you have you write down order by yourself, could be just number of that dishes in menu. Food is a bit spicy (depends on your choice) but yummy. It is one of my favourite Thai restaurant in this area.
MoreThis place is ridiculously delicious! Went for dinner and was VERY pleased. Ordered:Green Curry ChickenTom KahSpicy Thai Sausage Local food, local prices. Dine in or delivery via Line.More reviews/experiences- adventureswhileblack.com
MoreYums! Good and cheap isaan food. And also a few other popular Thai dishes. It gets very crowded and have to squeeze into a small space. But otherwise worth it.
MoreA simple and cosy restaurant serving great Thai food, especially for the spicy flavour lovers. Food are really in good portion and at very locally affoardable prices. Don't forget to try their locally bottled chrysanthumum tea, cooling you down very fast.
MoreDelicious Thai food and attentive service. Will definitely come back to sample more items.
MoreWow fried sea bass is so delicious and Not too salty.
We chose here as our first meal in Bangkok and it worth it! Meals with photos and numbers do not too hard for foreign to order. Drink price also available for enjoy the meal. 2 person order 4 meal and 1 drink cost just less than 300 baht
Morei like the food but isn’t big size for me to eat
After many years, still my fav place to come eat in the quiet lane. Must come and they have many thai and northern Thai dishes
MoreSaw this place from a food blog as well. It located inside a neighbourhood and its roughly about 5-8minutes walk from BTS Chong Nongsi. This place served mainly Issan food. Food portion is generally quite small thus can order a few more dishes. Good for sharing amongst friends. Ordered only 2 dishes as I was dinning solo. Grill pork neck (110baht) was pretty good, as for the stir fry water spinach, it wasn’t that great. The place is air-conditioned, therefore it’s a plus point.
More👍🏻1) really fast service 2) compact space3) taste reasonable 👎🏻4) dirty 5) small portion 6) compact space, noisy 7) fish was not fully cooked
MoreFood is pretty good. However with limited space, big group and people with kids are having a bit of difficulty. Would have given 5 stars if the staffs are friendlier.
MoreThis restaurants is a clearly a tourist trap! The place is very dirty. The food is very low-quality and the service is terrible. There was a fly in my drink so I asked for a change, I got changed with glass half-Full. While I was paying I noticed they charge us for that!!!!! Didn’t discuss it for one euro but it’s a rubbery. The meat quality is discussing, none of us could recognize, chicken from pork :))
MoreLocal and genuine thai food with fair prices, and the place comes with air-conditioning! Highly recommended.
MoreTraditional thai food outlet. Plenty of locals and foreigners eating here. Tourists not recommended. Speaks only little English.
MoreThe place is full of foreigner. You can expect standard atmosphere & price of Thai restaurant here but you won't get authentic taste. The taste is poor to my Thai standard. There are better places around this area.
MoreThis store is now more and more famous, so there are so many people, the taste is good, but the total cooling is always smaller than before.
MoreValue for money. The shop may look shabby from the outside but the interior is air conditioned and clean. Has a homely feel to it. Will return.
MoreI strongly recommend the seafood tomyum fried rice. Hands down the best fried rice I ever had in my life. I had 3 meals here just for this during my stay.
MoreThis is probably the most authentic Thai food I had during my short stay. Staff were extremely kind and food was beyond delicious. This is one of those places that will serve delicious food every time. I’ll be back here again!
MoreIt was tasty, but the portion was small. A bit touristy.
Typical inexpensive Issan food restaurant. Just a step above street food. Service was fairly attentive. And the grilled pork neck was exceptional.
MoreThis place is amazing. Luckily during last stay in BKK my property was located very near by. During dinner time prepare for waiting in line or just order take away. I Have seen some people calling it a tourist trap. Nothing further from the truth. This place has local prices and offers local, tasty, home made cuisine. Despite of being extremely busy, you don't wait for your order more than 15 mins. The staff, maybe not so fluent in English, but always happily welcoming you with a huge smile. Its a small, local restaurant, a bit run-down but you can see the kitchen thus you can see that employees follow practices of hygiene. When I was last time in BKK I ate there almost everyday. Definitely recommended.
MoreThe place is always busy, located in a narrow street of Silom Soi, but the foods were good with reasonable prices. It seems like they are popular amongst the tourist who visited Bangkok. I like their Fried Rice with Salty Fish, it reminds me to the one that I always had in my home country.
MoreA hidden gem along the street. Excellent cooking but do come early as it is a small place. Usually pack at lunch hour.
MoreNice small place
This place is amazing! Small restaurant with north eastern Thai food. Chip and good.
MoreThe seafood fried with rice has to be improved but the morning glory fry is amazing! Prices are still ok but slightly more expensive than street food.
MoreReasonable price with good taste thai food.I tried 3 diffrient kinds of rice, they were all yummy! Then I tried their noodle with soup, well, not my type. The menu is print in Thai along with both Chinese and English, which is great! However there is not very much choice of drinks.
MoreHad the grilled pork (not even warm), fried rice with crab meat, glass noodle with minced pork and tom yam soup. Only the tom yam soup is above average (with fresh prawn).
MoreThe ice cream and food is so delicious 😋
This little corner shop is usually packed with locals, which is always a good sign. The quality of food here can vary, but is overall pretty good. The fried noodles (i think it's #130) and grilled pork are always excellent.
MoreA small family-run restaurant. May be a little bit chaotic at dinner time. Be prepared to wait if you are going in a big group without advanced booking. Dishes are simple and small in portion.
MoreDown to earth, reasonably priced Thai food done well in an otherwise rather expensive area. To point, ordered the pork larb and it had pieces of liver in it, which I usually don't like in larb as it's often very skunky. Not the case here, even the liver pieces in the larb was delicious. Reasonably priced beers as well with a large Leo costing 90 baht. A relative steal for this area.
MoreCosy place and managed by Thai gender family.Every dish is nice and reasonable price.
MoreThe chicken was so tender and delicious. The Thai milk tea was great. Always crowded. Prices were mid-range or expensive.
MoreGood prices good thai food, no complaints
Everytime I passed by this place it has always been busy. So I decided to give it a try. But it has been so busy and I have to do a take away. The highly recommended dish is pork neck. I also had stir fried rice which is good. The deep fried chicken leg is wonderful too. The food is authentic and you should give it a try when you re around here.
MoreDelicious Northern Restaurant
Nice local Thai restaurant but most.clientele are foreigners....prices are low but the sizes of each are very "small' (be warned)..wouldn't say its a gem
